Alex Alvarado, DVM

Dr. Alvarado graduated veterinary school from Michigan State University in 2016 after receiving her bachelor's in Animal Science in 2012. Alex spent time learning from the doctors at Country Vet Clinic on and off during her schooling all the way from high school through vet school. After graduation, she worked in Pittsburgh, Oklahoma City, and Manistee and is very excited to finally be making her return to Country Clinic! Her interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

Alex and her husband Sebastian have one young son, Carlos. They also have a trio of Labrador colors "Ellie" (chocolate), "Addie" (yellow/red), and "Evie" (black). While she does not currently have a horse, she grew up riding and hopes to get back into it once Carlos is a little older. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors: skiing in the winter, water activities with the dogs and golfing in the summer.
